The world map is divided into 2,880,000 cells of 0.15 degrees, and every cell that is land can be bought for $1. Choose an area, give it a colour or an image, pay, and the area is written onto the map under your name with a deed of its own.
Every sold area has a page of its own, listing its owner, its size and where in the world it is. The map itself needs JavaScript, but those pages do not.
